  • CVM partners With Another New Site
    The Inland Empire CVM program is the latest partnership between Community Voice Mail and Inland Empire United Way.

  • 2007 CVM Annual Report now available
    The 2007 Annual Report is now available. Many thanks to our generous funders, volunteers, and Federation members for another successful year of Community Voice Mail.

  • Houston CVM Manager on KPFT 90.1fm

  • Two new sites added to CVM Federation
    We are excited to have 2 new sites joining the Community Voice Mail family. Welcome Albuquerque and South Florida!

  • Bellingham, WA's Opportunity Council Launches New Project
    A new site is available to WA residents. The Telecommunications Consumer Education and Training Project may help to get you reconnected with basic phone service, increase your knowledge of consumer rights, and decrease the cost of your telephone service.

  • Wilco supports Chicago CVM
    The band Wilco donated $20,000 to Chicago's Inspiration Corporation.  Half of the donation will support their Community Voice Mail program.

  • Mobile Phone Use Among Homeless People
    On May 29, 2008 an article regarding CVM's mobile phone pilot project appeared on MobileActive.org blog.

  • 100 served in Tulsa
    On April 25, 2008 CVM’s newest site, the Tulsa Day Center celebrated the distribution of 100 Community Voice Mailboxes to clients.

  • CVM on KUOW

  • CVM receives CECP award

  • CVM launches new site

  • CVM Completes National Survey of End-Users
    This national survey focused on CVM client adoption of email accounts and cell phones, voicemail access channels, and types of referral information that would be most useful if delivered via broadcast message system.  Read Summary.

  • Using Broadcast Messaging
    CVM is using Broadcast Messaging to distribute information to its clients, bringing further opportunities for employment, housing and resources to those in need. Watch Video
